Starting out in the mountains along a beautiful tree lined road, this route takes you by a river, through the mountains and out to a gorgeous valley with vistas of Lake Casitas along the way. There are some nice eateries in Santa Paula and through Ojai. Ojai is a great little town to visit and explore on foot.

Attraction or Point-of-Interest recommendation:Lake Casitas, is quietly famous for bass fishing. Great beach at Carpenteria, also excellent campground at the beach--need reservations, though.
